Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course (English & Mandarin) - BCSS

Legal Requirements

Regulation 9 of the Workplace Safety And Health (Construction) Regulations states that:

(2) It shall be the duty of —

(a) the employer of any person who carries out oversight or supervisory work in a worksite; or

(b) the principal under whose direction any person carries out oversight or supervisory work in a worksite, to ensure that the person does not oversee or supervise any work (including any process) in the worksite unless the person has received adequate safety and health training to ensure that the work which the person oversees or supervises can be carried out safely

For Whom

This course is accredited by MOM as the safety and health training required by the above Regulations for any person who carries out oversight or supervisory work for construction projects.

Skills Development Fund (SDF) (Fee Type: Full Fee)

Participants who are Singaporean or Singapore PR and sponsored by company are eligible for SDF Fundings. To be eligible for the SDF funding, companies are required to enroll their trainees through the SkillsConnect System. All SDF applicant can only make payment via Cheque or Giro to Training Provider.

Entry Requirement

a) At Least GCE "N' Level Grade 5 & above for English and Mathematics ; OR

b) Employability Skills WSQ (ES WSQ) - Workplace Literacy & Workplace Numeracy Skill (WPLN) Level 4

Certification:

                                Only participants with 100% attendance will be eligible to sit for the examination. Certificate will be awarded to participants who successfully complete the course and pass the examination.

However, ID passes can also be issued at $10.00 each (OPTIONAL) after collection of results. ID Pass will be ready in 2 weeks time upon submission of ID pass application form.

Replacement/Postponement:

                                A notice of replacement / postponement together with the full particulars of the new participant (for replacement) must be given to us AT LEAST 3 working days before the course commencement.  A charge of S$10 (replacement) or S$30 (postponement) will be imposed on such changes.

Cancellation:
